In 2025, Pulsar Scientific and Engineering Group LLC won the BRAVE1 Ukrainian Defense Innovations grant program, receiving funding to implement the “SVT-EXPERT” project. The project aims to develop innovative technology for detecting explosive devices through multi-parameter remote scanning using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The “SVT-EXPERT” technology is an intelligent information and tool system for local, site-specific remote monitoring, based on a dynamic, multi-parameter method of electromagnetic scanning — UAV-based scanning combined with the analysis of radiation from local anomalies of search targets—enabling the remote and rapid investigation of physical characteristics of territories for the presence of explosive objects, including the determination of their spatial location.
The “SVT-EXPERT” system allows you to:
- Conduct a detailed, comprehensive analysis of the physical characteristics of territories and identify local areas showing signs of explosive objects.
- Maintain databases of parameters for specific explosive objects under investigation for the purpose of their geophysical standardization by possible types.
- Identify criteria for the manifestation of explosive objects in the studied background radiation field.
- Obtain final (map-based) information on the distribution pattern on the surface with high spatial resolution, enabling the identification of potential locations of explosive objects.
